Challenge and Motivation
- Challenging LMD based tip repair process due to the changing of heat flow characteristics.
- Investigation of dependency between melt pool temperature and LMD process parameters as well as further process steps for tip repair processes.
Objective
- Acquisition of pyrometry data to enable adaptation of LMD process parameters (e.g. laser power) and correlation with adaptive milling process.
- Pyrometer supported design and improvement of robustness of the tip repair process.
