Follow-up: LCI data base for turbomachinery manufacturing - Extension by cooling methods

How does the cooling method affect the environmental footprint of the milling process?
Challenge and Motivation
- The resource and energy efficiency of various machine tools and processes have been evaluated. Now, the impact of different cooling methods on the environment will be investigated.
Objective
- Expand LCI database to include oil, emulsion, and Minimal Quantity Lubrication (MQL) cooling.
- Analyze energy and resource consumption of each method.
- Further development of ICTM specific LCI-database
