Challenge and Motivation

• Powder must be handled different than conventional materials.
• Powder handling and storage is essential with regard to operators health and safety.

Objective

• Being able to set-up and safely run powder-based laser fusion machines within a production environment.
• Highlight solutions and criteria to handle and store AM materials along the AM process chain.
